Events leading to this match: Rhodes & DiBiase were scheduled to face the Colon Brothers for the titles at The Bash but Edge & and Jericho were added to the match right before the bell rang. Edge and Jericho won the titles in that match. Since then, Edge suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will be out of action for several months. Jericho will be naming his new partner at the show.
